Your introduction arrives Monday at noon. You and your match have until Tuesday midnight to decide if you would like to connect. One introduction. Considered carefully.

No. There is no public profile, no searchable directory and no way for anyone to find you. Your name is only shared with a match after you have both chosen to connect. You are not visible to anyone you have not been introduced to.
Introductions are sold in bundles, starting from AU$69 for four introductions — once the service opens, roughly the cost of one dinner out. There is no subscription and nothing renews automatically. You buy when you want to, and stop when you want to.
You can pause at any time — just don't opt in that Sunday. If you decide to leave entirely, you can delete your account and we will remove your data. No questions, no retention calls.

Trust and Safety
Before anyone joins Merydia, they will verify their identity with a government-issued document. Every profile will be reviewed by a real person — not an algorithm — before it goes live.
Once you are a member, no one will be able to browse your profile, search for you, or message you out of the blue. The only way anyone meets you here is through an introduction we have made, after checking you are both a good fit.

Romance scams cost Australians hundreds of millions of dollars each year. They almost always begin with a cold, unsolicited approach — which Merydia structurally prevents.
Beyond that, once the service is live we will monitor messages for known scam patterns and act on every report. If something feels wrong, report it immediately. We will respond.
Nobody at Merydia will ever ask you to send money to another member. Neither will any legitimate match.
